GDB Holiday Giveaway: Win one of 3 sets of Holiday Cards from MOO

Screen shot 2011-12-27 at 11.25.24 PM

As many of you know, we don’t do giveaways very often at GDB, but when MOO contacted us, I was thrilled because I’ve always been a huge fan of their creative approach to printing. MOO has provided us with 3 sets of 25 MOO Holiday Cards for 3 of our readers.

MOO’s unique printing technology ‘printfinity’ allows you to place a different image on each card in a pack! This is an excellent way to show off a portfolio, designs or business. (Something I’ve been dying to try ever since I learned about it. Once I try it out, I’ll let you know how it went. If any of you have tried out their “printfinity” technology, leave a comment and let me know how it went for you!)

What’s up for grabs?

3 sets of 25 MOO Holiday cards designed by you, for you!

How to win (It’s easy)

For a chance to win one of the 3 sets of Holiday cards, take a second to tell me what the perfect gift for designers is this Holiday season by leaving a comment on this post. What gift are you dying to get? What new gadget, book, or toy can you just not live without in 2012?

Winners will be chosen from the comments below. Please enter a valid email address so we are able to contact you (PS. We won’t share your email address-as usual.)

Good luck and Happy Holidays!

UPDATE: Congratulations to John, Rikki, and Amanda on winning the 3 sets of Holiday Cards! We’ve contacted you via email. Happy Holidays, everyone!

  1. Beats headphones are a great gift for designers. Who doesn’t like to zone out and listen to their music. I personally am hoping for the pink ones. And the gadget I can’t live without is my iPhone/iPad. Have to have it with me at all times. :)

  2. I got mine early this year…a new imac and an ipad. i’m a lucky girl.

  4. I would love a Wacom Tablet – I make do with my mouse but a Wacom would be awesome! BTW I have used MOO for biz cards and they are eye catching and beautiful. Thanks for the chance!

The drive/passion and energy for graphic design I had before becoming a professional — that would be an awesome gift, but a gift only I can give myself.

  6. The perfect gift this holiday would be a the Sony HD camcorder to capture moments that are never going to return :)

  7. http://www.threadless.com/12club

This probably isn’t going to happen for me since my husband hates everything clothing-related, but how cool would it be to be gifted a subscription to the Threadless 12club!? One artistic tee a month would be an awesome and regular boost of inspiration and style! Now if only my husband were reading this… ;)

I spouse I could always post this and “accidentally” leave the browser window open… ;)

  8. I think the perfect holiday gift for a graphic designer would be a subscription to a favorite design magazine. The ones that come to mind are Before & After Magazine and How Magazine.

  9. I would love a new iMac! And I could use the holiday cards because there’s never enough time to design for myself. Thanks for the giveaway!

  10. ipad, latest pantone book, CS5…..

  14. I love to find inspiration in creative magazines. A subscription to HOW, Print, Communication Arts or any other creative resources would be a great gift.

  15. Last year, I ordered custom sticker sets from MOO using some of my favorite graphics. The process was easy (and fun!), the quality was top-notch, and the prices were extremely reasonable. Great stocking stuffers or thank-yous for clients and colleagues.

Other great gifts for designers and developers are USB thumb drives, memberships at any of the high-quality design resource sites and WordPress theme sites, design idea books, or software. I’m hoping for great books on web design/development for mobile devices, HTML5, and CSS3.

  16. For Christmas I would love to get a MacBook Pro so I could work on some things and be closer to my family rather than tucked away in my office.

  17. John Edwards says:

The perfect gift for a graphic designer would be a copy of “From Passion to Profit” or ten million dollars. I found it very useful indeed. However, ten million dollars would come in quite handy as well. It’s a tough call.

A gift certificate for MOO is just the best for ANYONE, hobbyist, amateur, entrepreneur….
I’ve purchased their mini-Moo cards and business cards.

50 DIFFERENT pictures/graphics/! All your information goes on the reverse; your art is front and center. It’s like a portfolio in miniature; the printing and reproduction of photos/graphics is STELLAR for such a small space.

Try them, it’s addictive — in a good way.

  29. Definitely could use a MacBook Pro. I’d love to be able to get out of the office! And some cards from MOO would be awesome! Just got their sample pack the other day – can’t wait to try their printing!
